Intermountain Acoustic Music Association The Intermountain Acoustic Music Association (IAMA) is an all-volunteer 501(c)(3) non-profit, tax-exempt organization based in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Acoustic music today has a large and passionate national following and remains an integral part of America's cultural fabric. Likewise, acoustic music has a long tradition in Utah, having been part of the culture brought here by the pioneers, handed down through generations in family homes, at social gatherings, and in community dances and festivals. IAMA continues this Utah tradition by making acoustic music available and accessible to the citizens of our county through concerts, open jam sessions, open mics and a monthly magazine for sharing information about the history of acoustic music and acoustic music-related events in the area.
