We were honored to be invited to join other land trusts across central & east Idaho to spend the day with the Shoshone-Bannock Tribes learning more about their homelands, culture & the way they care for the land. LRLT looks forward to growing & deepening this partnership centered around the lands we all care for & steward in Central Idaho.

Regional Land Trusts gather at Fort Hall

FORT HALL - On October 15, 2026, the Shoshone Bannock Tribes welcomed regional land trusts to Fort Hall for a day of learning, connection, and conversations on shared stewardship.

Guests toured the Tribal Museum and spent time with the Original Territories and Historical Research Program to deepen their understanding of our homelands, history, and ongoing care for the land.
Executive Deputy Director Tino Batt shared, “I really appreciate everyone’s supporting the Tribe’s partnerships and the collaborative projects that honor our history, culture, and stewardship.”

Thank you to the Lemhi Regional Land Trust, Wood River Land Trust, Sagebrush Steppe Land Trust, and the Teton Regional Land Trust.

We are grateful for the growing commitment to build respectful partnerships that uplift our stories and strengthen our responsibilities to the land and to future generations.

We had SUCH a great time at our Fabric Wreath Workshop!

We loved seeing some familiar faces AND welcoming some new ones to the fun! Everyone went home with their own unique, beautiful wreath—and hopefully a few good stories to go along with it.
