We are so appreciative of the Lemhi County Humane Society Inc. for opening up Oddfellows Hall for community events such as comedy night, thank you so much. We couldn't think of a better place for Salmon's Comedy Show.

Introducing our headline comedy act! You won't want to miss...

Janae Burris!

Janae Burris (Just For Laughs/NBC First Look) is a comedian, actor and event host in Denver Colorado. She is a South Los Angeles native and a California Institute of the Arts alumna. Since moving to Colorado Janae has performed with Local Theater Co., Colorado Shakespeare Fest, The Denver Center for Performing Arts and most recently the starring role in Aurora Fox Theater’s “Queens Girl In The World”. Her years growing up in one of L.A.’s most notorious neighborhoods, combined with her training in avant garde theater make Janae’s comedy style something similar to a one-woman show, a perfect fit for S**t Talk Tours, which she hosts regularly at the Museum of Contemporary Art in Denver.

She has opened for nationally touring comics Michael Che, Roy Wood Jr., Beth Stelling, Josh Blue and Gary Gulman to name a few. Janae has been featured at Portland’s Bridgetown Comedy Festival, Limestone Comedy Festival in Bloomington Ind, Telluride Blues Fest and High Plains Comedy Festival in Denver as well as headlining at Ha Ha Harvest in Portland and Aspen Laugh Fest. Janae is a 2019 Just For Laughs New Face. She is a “Pro” on the coveted regulars list at Comedy Works in Denver as well as the 2016 Comedy Works New Faces Champ. She has showcased at NACA West, Midwest and Central. She is a founding member of P***y Bros, her stand up comedy girl gang with Christie Buchele and Rachel Weeks, who made their television debut on NBC’s First Look.

Live Stand Up Comedy - Salmon Idaho

Proof that life is comedy gold.

Get ready for a night of big laughs and relatable humor! This upcoming stand-up comedy show takes the everyday moments we all experience and turns them into comedy gold. From family life and relationships to work, aging, and the little frustrations that make life interesting, our comedians bring sharp observations and hilarious stories to the stage.

Join us for an evening of live entertainment where you’ll laugh, nod in agreement, and maybe even see a little too much of your own life in the jokes. Grab your friends, enjoy a great night out, and get ready to laugh at the wonderfully chaotic adventure we call life.

The show takes place at Oddfellows Hall in Salmon and promises a lively evening of comedy in an intimate setting. Doors open at 6:00 PM, with the show running from 7:00–9:00 PM, followed by a 30-minute meet and greet with the comedians.

One of our commitments as the Salmon Arts Council for the community, is to support and showcase local artists and that is exactly what this concert is about.
