April 10, 2026 - The chapter’s program, "Experiences with Antique Roadshow," was presented by veteran Roadshow appraiser and nationally renowned expert in American fine art, our own member Debra Force. She shared some behind-the-scenes moments from her 25-plus years on this popular PBS show while presenting from NYC. Debra was able to participate in the new member induction with Kimmy Harding and Ellie Matlosz. Regent Judy Halter later held the America 250 wreath she had presented to Jojo’s Restaurant; with her was MaryAnne Adkins. MaryAnne guided chapter members through the process of making their own unique wreaths to be donated to organizations and businesses in the Wicomico County community.

February 6, 2026: At our monthly meeting, a 45th-anniversary certificate was presented to a Samuel Chase member. Our Flag minute, presented by our Flag chair, featured a rare 39-star unofficial American flag. Why was it unofficial? It was manufactured in anticipation of a 39th state around the time Colorado became the 38th state. Instead, North and South Dakota became our 39th and 40th states. A James M Bennett senior presented her essay as the winner of the Good Citizen Award. We congratulate her and wish her all the best as a future college student. We were also appreciative of the City of Salisbury Mayor, the President of the Wicomico County Council, the Wicomico County Superintendent of Schools, Bennett’s guidance counselor, and family members who attended our meeting to recognize this special student.
