This Thursday, October 22nd! The Brick Room for our meeting! Guest Bartending fundraiser for Easter Seals of Delaware & Maryland's Eastern Shore! What's raised here stays here and is used locally! Come join and support our Club's Guest Bartenders: Allen Brown! Ginny Malone! Terry Greenwood!

Then, Club President Gus let our Members and Guests know that tonight's meeting is a Fellowship Meeting!!
We will be eating crabs, and/or shrimp, corn on the cob, salad and dessert! And the program?? Ourselves! Enjoying our Rotary camaraderie! And it, too, was a Great meeting!!

The Salisbury Rotary Club President Gus, as he does, opened our October 15th meeting by welcoming all who were in attendance, adding a bit of humor, having his designees lead us in the Pledge of Allegiance, Rotary's Four-Way Test and invocation.
Club President Gus' announcements:
Thanked all who participated in Mr. Long's ramp build a week ago.
The well issue at the RSCC has been resovled.
District Dinner, with District Governor Ken Montville, will be held at Dove Pointe November 13th. (Did I mention, DG Ken is a Member of our Club?)
Reminder our Club's meeting venue Thursday, October 22nd, will be downtown at The Brick Room, where we will be participating and supporting our Club's GUEST BARTENDERS, Allen Brown, Ginny Malone and Terry Greenwood!! The Salisbury Rotary Club will be participating in this event as a fund-raiser for Easter Seals! Please, show your support!
Also, Thursday, October 29th is the fifth Thursday of the month, so no meeting that evening! Our next meeting at the RSCC will be Thursday, November 5th!

October 24th, 2026, has been designated as WORLD POLIO DAY! Please consider helping Rotary International (RI), in its quest to eradicate polio as a world health threat!
Every dollar RI commits to end polio will be TRIPLED, thanks to a matching agreement with the Gates Foundation!! (See the attached link, below, for additional details.) Thank you! Have a great day!

And here's the finished project! After a lot of hard work, Mr. Long's ramp is complete. Great job Salisbury Rotarians, in conjunction with the Chesapeake Housing Mission!

Pre Club President Gus: "I want to personally thank all of the Rotarians that helped the Club successfully complete our ramp build this past Saturday October 10, 2026. We had 2 prebuild sessions on October 7th and 9th and the final build on Saturday October 10, 2026 at Mr. Long's house at 9805 Champ Road, Princess Anne MD. The build was successful and Mr. Long has a new 40-foot-long wheelchair ramp to safely exit and enter his home."
"There will be a small Bible that will be presented to Mr. Long upon completion of the build that I will need everyone that works on the build to sign before it is presented."

Saturday, October 10th, our team of Salisbury Rotarians and friends were assigned the ramp build project for Elwood Long in Princess Anne. This was day three of Salisbury Rotary's ramp prep and build week!
To all Club Members that were able work on this project, WELL DONE!
