🇺🇸 Happy Independence Day from Samuel C. Hart Post 14! 🇺🇸

Today, as America celebrates 250 years of freedom (1776–2026), we honor the vision, courage, and sacrifice of those who founded our nation and the generations of Americans who have defended it ever since.

The Fourth of July is more than fireworks and cookouts—it’s a reminder of the freedoms we enjoy because of the brave men and women who answered the call to serve. Today, we especially remember those who gave everything in defense of our nation and thank all who have worn the uniform.

As you celebrate with family and friends, take a moment to reflect on what it means to be an American and the responsibility we all share to preserve the freedoms we’ve been given.

🇺🇸 You’re Invited to Our Independence Day Celebration! 🇺🇸

Join us this Saturday, July 4th, as we celebrate America’s 250th Birthday at Samuel C. Hart American Legion Post 14!

After our members return from proudly participating in the Faith Independence Day Parade, we’ll gather for food, fellowship, and patriotism.

🍗 Grilled Chicken & Cowboy Beans will be provided by the Legionnaires.

🥗 Please bring a side dish or dessert to share if you’re able.

🕛 Food will be ready around 12:00 PM.

Come spend the afternoon celebrating our nation’s 250 years of freedom with your American Legion family. We look forward to seeing everyone there!

🇺🇸 Happy Flag Day & Happy 251st Birthday, U.S. Army! 🇺🇸

Today we proudly celebrate two important pieces of our nation’s history.

On Flag Day, we honor the Stars and Stripes, the enduring symbol of the freedoms we cherish and the sacrifices made to protect them.

We also celebrate the 251st Birthday of the United States Army, established on June 14, 1775. For more than two and a half centuries, Army Soldiers have answered the call to defend our nation, preserve liberty, and serve with honor both at home and abroad.

To all Soldiers past and present, especially our fellow veterans here at Samuel C. Hart Post 14, thank you for your courage, dedication, and selfless service.

This Flag Day, take a moment to display the American flag proudly and remember those who have worn the uniform in defense of our great nation.

Happy Birthday, U.S. Army!

Today, we honor the brave men who stormed the beaches of Normandy 82 years ago during one of the most significant military operations in history.

On June 6, 1944, thousands of American, British, Canadian, and Allied troops faced overwhelming odds as they landed on the shores of France to begin the liberation of Europe from N**i occupation. Their courage, sacrifice, and determination changed the course of World War II and secured the freedoms we enjoy today.

Many never made it home. Many more carried the scars of that day for the rest of their lives. We remember them all.

As members of The American Legion, we are committed to preserving the legacy of the Greatest Generation and ensuring that their service and sacrifice are never forgotten.

Please join us in taking a moment today to remember the heroes of D-Day and all who fought for freedom.

“These were the men who took the first steps toward victory, knowing full well the cost that freedom demands.”

🇺🇸 This Memorial Day, we pause to honor and remember the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our country. Their sacrifice secured the freedoms we enjoy every day, and their courage will never be forgotten.

As we gather with family and friends, let us take a moment to reflect on the true meaning of Memorial Day and remember those who made the ultimate sacrifice for our nation.

Mother Nature finally gave in and gave us a beautiful day for the Polar Bear Run! This is such a great group of riders and we are proud to be a part of their charity ride each year. Thank you to everyone who participated.
