Our Equine Assisted Services program is seeking a safe, experienced horse for therapeutic/adaptive riding lessons and Special Olympics.
We are a PATH Accredited facility that strives to prioritize the well-being of our horses and provide quality care.
Ideal candidate:
• Safe and reliable walk/trot/canter horse
• Suitable for semi-independent, advanced beginner riders and Special Olympics competition
• Kind, patient, and forgiving disposition
• Sound with reasonable maintenance considered
• Western-training preferred
• Previous ranch, ranch versatility, or trail class experience a plus
• "Been there, done that" type with excellent ground manners
We know they are worth their weight in gold, but we have a four-digit budget and are hoping someone is looking for a good fit for the right horse. Care leases are also a great option for someone who wants to retain ownership.
We will want to meet the horse in person
