The City of Salisbury is committed to being a good neighbor to our friends in Western North Carolina who have been impacted by the catastrophic flooding caused by Hurricane Helene.

We are collecting essential supplies to support the communities impacted by this devastating storm. Items needed include water, tarps, non-perishable foods, batteries, first kits, hand sanitizer, baby diapers and wipes, trash bags, work gloves, pet food, cleaning supplies, box fans and paper products. Firefighters will deliver supplies this week as they change crews in McDowell County. Please consider dropping off donations at one of the following locations:

• City Hall - 217 S. Main St., Salisbury
• Customer Service Center -1415 Martin Luther King, Jr. Ave.,
• Fire Station 5 -1402 S. Main St., Salisbury

By lending a hand, we can show our neighbors in need that Salisbury stands with them.
