Tonight (Thursday 10-11-18), the B-PAC Bicycle-Pedestrian Advisory Committee is meeting at 5:30 in room 202. John from Toole Design Group will be presenting the final draft of the Rail with Trail Master Plan.

Heather Cook senselessly took Tom Palermo’s life in 2014. Driving while drunk, texting, fleeing the accident scene. In 2015, She was sentenced to serve only 7 years in prison for this crime and is not eligible for parole. She needs to serve her full sentence, in prison.

Heather Cook is asking for home confinement after killing Tom Palermo while driving drunk and texting. Please join Bike Maryland in signing this letter to ask Dayena Corcoran, Maryland Commissioner of Corrections to deny Heather Cook her request.

Bethesda had an excellent trail network that was used by riders of all ages for daily commuting. Ironically, the trail is now shutdown for construction of a public transportation project! It’s clear that engineers and planners can do a better job.
