π A Community Coming Together. A Story That Reminds Us Why.
Today, Rowan County United Way celebrated an exciting milestone at our second Community Impact Meeting!
π $508,388.26 RAISED! That's 12% ahead of where we were this time last year toward our $1.2 million Annual Giving Campaign goal!
Beyond the numbers, guest speaker David Whisenant shared his personal experience of losing his father to su***de 40 years ago, reminding us why conversations about mental health, su***de prevention, and community support matter.
His powerful message leads us into this Saturday's Into the Light Su***de and Mental Health Awareness Walk, where we invite our community to come together in remembrance, support, and hope.
