The Kingdom of Crystal Groves is an Amtgard LARP program. To those who don’t know exactly what that means, it looks like a big group of people who dress up and remind the world that imagination and creativity still have a place in this world.

But it’s so much more. We play in our communities, we’re from our communities, we are our communities, and we always seek to maintain a connection to our communities. We’re not just a LARP, we’re a social organization and the connection we have with each other is the foundation of all that we do together.

KCG spans 5 states, VA, MD, DE, PA, and NJ - with hundreds of players.

The Kingdom of Crystal Groves, and our program sponsor Capitol Games Inc. Board of Directors, are so very proud of, and grateful for, our members.

This weekend during our Kingdom Fall Coronation, a thoughtful and wonderful member of our community spearheaded a fundraiser to support the Virginia Disaster Relief Fund that raised $320 in 2 days.

The VDRF is a fund managed by the State of Virginia and governed by a board of disaster relief non-profits and organizations. They give grants, not loans, directly to Virginians affected by disasters.

Ghosts are lurking around every corner and some say the only thing to keep them at bay is light.

Make sure to have a lantern or bright enough light source at night or you might find yourself joining the spooky spectrals.
