𝐂𝐚𝐧𝐨𝐩𝐢𝐢 𝐀𝐝𝐯𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐬 𝐓𝐨 𝐃𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐆 𝐒𝐩𝐞𝐞𝐜𝐡 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐞𝐭𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧

Each year, more than 30,000 Toastmasters compete in one or more speech contest categories. Michele Canopii successfully won the International Speech category of the Area 71 Contest which was held earlier this month in Dover DE. Her winning speech was titled “Moment In Time”. It focused on the power of our senses, and how they can trigger a host of memories, both positive and negative. Canopii, a member of the Delmarva Toastmasters Club will represent Area 71 in the Division G Speech Competition which will be held on Saturday, March 21. It will begin at 10:30 AM at the Georgetown Public Library, 123 W Pine Street in Georgetown, DE.

Congratulations, fellow Toastmaster, Michele Canopii, of Delmarva Toastmasters Club, International Speech winner for Area 71 at the Area 71, 73, 74 combined contest in Dover DE on March 1, 2026. Michele is accepting a certificate from our club president and Area 71 Director, David Smith. Michele moves on to Division G contest in Georgetown DE on March 21, 2026.
