Life Crisis Center hosted its Volunteer Appreciation Dinner at Ocean Downs Resort and Casino on April 16th. We had the pleasure of presenting several of our volunteers with 'volunteer of the quarter' recognition. We also recognized and celebrated the life of former CASA volunteer Shawntel Robins. Because of volunteers like these, we are able to continue to do the good work we do!! We appreciate you all!!

It is with great sadness that we report the tragic passing of Shawntel Robins. Shawntel had served as a volunteer with Lower Shore CASA for the last 15 years. She was very instrumental in helping our agency support permanent, lasting and loving homes for abused and neglected children living on the Lower Shore. Our hearts are broken for her family and loved ones. Here at Lower Shore CASA we considered Shawntel a voice for the voiceless and a true friend to our program. Shawntel will be missed, but never forgotten.
