About
Beginning in May 2020 a multidisciplinary coalition of human service professionals on Maryland’s Lower Eastern Shore has been meeting weekly via Zoom to address the pressing and complex challenges to vulnerable populations during the COVID-19 pandemic.
The goal is to reduce preventable deaths, mitigate the social and economic impact of the virus for vulnerable groups, and create connections and solutions that help us to emerge from this a stronger, more inclusive and resilient Lower Eastern Shore community.
The Task Force organizes an ongoing series of outdoor resource fairs called One-Stop-Shops. Through generous donations of time and materials, we have supplied reusable and disposable masks, other resources like soap and sanitizer, and an ever-increasing array of resources including food distribution.
