soups and sauces are flash frozen and heated or microwaved at the time of service? Did you know that the dollars that are generated at a chain location are used to pay local staff labor, but the remaining funds don't support local service industries or food vendors? Do you know that contrary to the hype that the national chains dish out about supporting the local community, it is the local restaurants that donate far more than the 1 percent of sales that the national restaurants contribute to local advertising? We invite you to slow down, relax and enjoy the flavors of the Eastern Shore. are committed to serving our local friends, neighbors and restaurant families in comfortable and aesthetically pleasing surroundings. Pick from a wide variety of local favorites that are made fresh on the premises. Talk with the owner or see the management staff at work in the restaurant, something you won't see at the nationals. If something is not to your liking, then allow us to prepare it your way. We are your neighbors and friends, and as a group, we have given over $100,000 to our local community in the past year. With your help, we will continue to support our local schools and charitable organizations. LORA, The Local Owner Restaurant Association, is a group of locally owned restaurants located in Wicomico County and Delmar who have banded together to address common goals and interests.
