Today we had the opportunity to stop by and see our friends at the Salisbury, Maryland Police Department and drop off some delicious bbq chicken meals from the Mardela Springs Vol. Fire Company.
Thank you for taking the time to chat and We hope you enjoyed the meals. We appreciate all you do in and for our community! 🇺🇸💙
Next Saturday our friends at the Allen Volunteer Fire Department will be cooking chicken. Who will we feed next week? Stay tuned and find out!

So this was a really cool fundraiser! And yes the winner soaked them in water before consumption. 😳

Our hotdog eating contest was a hit which means we were able to donate $750 to Operation We Care! We were honored to have the organization at Pittsville Ford today for a check presentation!

Today as part of America 250 we had the opportunity to pack 50 care packages with the Delmarva Shorebirds. As always we had an awesome time and we thank Chris Bitters, Jimmy Sweet and the Delmarva Shorebirds staff for their hospitality. Our friends from Dogfish Head provided some swag for the boxes as well as covering the shipping cost.
We also had Little Miss Delmarva Savannah join us so it was a great day all around.
Thank you to all involved and these packages will be shipped out tomorrow to begin their journey around the world. 🇺🇸

Here are just a few photos that are FINALLY coming in from our May packing party!! 🙌🏼 THANK YOU to all the volunteers and donations that make this possible every year!! We cannot do this without each and every one of you ♥️ Just look at those smiles!! And Girl Scout cookies! 🤣

Unfortunately instead of taking roughly 2 weeks for mail to be delivered, it is now taking close to 2 months or more!!!

We stopped to see our friends at the Allen Volunteer Fire Department to pick up some delicious bbq chicken and headed over to the Fruitland -MD- Police Department and the Wicomico County Sheriff's Office to provide lunch.

Sunday, August 2, the Shorebirds are hosting First Responders Night! Every first responder on Delmarva can receive two (2) FREE tickets to the game and can secure their tickets by contacting their local station!

Yesterday we purchased 70 cases of bottled water for distribution to our 11 County volunteer fire companies and the 3 Salisbury fire houses.
We received the request early yesterday morning and quickly put a plan together to pick up and distribute the water.
Thank you to our friends at Sam's Club for working with us on short notice. Thank you to Jim Adkins, Joe White and Joe Venosa for helping with the deliveries on short notice.
We wanted to show our appreciation for the firefighters and EMS personnel that work tirelessly every day in all conditions to keep our community safe.
This is how it gets done. Roll your sleeves up and let’s get to work. Happy birthday America!!
