Today we headed over to Sussex County to visit our little friend with a huge heart, Little Miss Delmarva Savannah. Since May Savannah has organized and executed several donation drives at Redners and Hockers grocery stores. The total number of items collected is 10,653.
This is nothing short of an amazing effort by Savannah and we are very blessed to have her on our team. Thank you Savannah and Mom and Dad for all your support of our mission.
Onward to November!! 🇺🇸

Today we had the opportunity to stop by Salisbury Fire Department, Inc Sta 16 and drop off some bbq chicken meals from our friends at the Allen Volunteer Fire Company. The crews from all three SFD firehouses were at Station 16 for training so it was great to be able to thank everyone for what they do in and for our community. We also had the opportunity to check out the new Rescue 1 truck.
When we were done we stopped over at the Wicomico County Emergency Services - DES and dropped bbq chicken meals for the staff working today.
Thank you to Joe White for helping us today as we made our rounds.
This might be a three day holiday weekend for most but public safety never takes a break and we appreciate all that you do and we thank you for your service to our communities. 🇺🇸

So this was a really cool fundraiser! And yes the winner soaked them in water before consumption. 😳
Thank you to the team at Pittsville Ford and the Preston Automotive Group for your support of our mission at Operation We Care! 🇺🇸

Our hotdog eating contest was a hit which means we were able to donate $750 to Operation We Care! We were honored to have the organization at Pittsville Ford today for a check presentation!

Today as part of America 250 we had the opportunity to pack 50 care packages with the Delmarva Shorebirds. As always we had an awesome time and we thank Chris Bitters, Jimmy Sweet and the Delmarva Shorebirds staff for their hospitality. Our friends from Dogfish Head provided some swag for the boxes as well as covering the shipping cost.
We also had Little Miss Delmarva Savannah join us so it was a great day all around.
Thank you to all involved and these packages will be shipped out tomorrow to begin their journey around the world. 🇺🇸
