They still fuel the mission. When a car isn’t safe or suitable for a family, we find other meaningful ways to put it to work. Some are auctioned to raise critical funds. Others are sold through Freedom Wheels, our automotive retail lot, to support the cause. And some are used to train the next generation of auto techs.

When you donate your vehicle to Vehicles for Change, every part of it finds purpose:

If the car’s in great shape?
It may be awarded directly to a family, providing them with access to jobs, education, healthcare, and stability.

If the car needs serious repair?
It provides hands-on training for our Full Circle interns, formerly incarcerated individuals, who gain ASE certification and a second chance at life. When it's beyond repair, we auction it to keep our programs running strong.

If it’s a higher-end car?
It goes to Freedom Wheels, our retail location, where it’s sold to the public, and 100% of those funds are reinvested in our mission of transforming lives through mobility and opportunity.
