Photos from our last potting day this season with Hudson Highlands Land Trust 🌱

Volunteers have potted nearly 1,700 seedlings over three workdays! WOW! We could not do this work without our incredible partners and volunteers!

These seedlings will be cared for by volunteers at home and at our main growing site until they're big enough to be planted in restoration sites this fall.

You can volunteer at our main growing site by signing up at wildwoodsproject.org/events and keep an eye out for our fall planting days, coming soon!

Thank you so much to our volunteers that helped us pot up seedlings with The Land Conservancy of New Jersey last Saturday at the New Weis Center! We potted up over 500 seedlings to be used in restoration projects in the fall 🌱

We need more volunteers for our upcoming potting day this Monday, June 29th from 10AM-12PM! We'll be potting up several species of native plants, and you'll be learning how to grow them from experts.

We have another potting up event with closternaturecenter this upcoming Saturday, June 27th!

Here are photos from our first event of the season at Closter. Volunteers potted up OVER 500 native plants to be used in restoration projects in the fall!

We only have ONE spot left for our Sedge ID workshop this upcoming Sunday, June 28th from 1PM-4PM!🌾

Join Steve Young, retired chief botanist for the New York Natural Heritage Program, at Wild Woods' main growing site in Orange County and learn how to correctly identify sedges. Beginners welcome!

This program is being offered as a fundraiser for Wild Woods Restoration Project. A donation of $40 per participant to Wild Woods Restoration Project is requested. Program is limited to 10 attendees; pre-registration is required.
