Coastal Kids Home Care is California’s only non-profit pediatric home health agency serving children in Monterey, Santa Cruz, Santa Clara and San Benito Counties. Whether the medical need is great or small, ongoing or brief, we are ready and available to help, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Our team of registered nurses, professional therapists, and medical social workers work hand-in-hand with families to create a plan of care that is entirely unique to their child’s situation. This week, we are especially grateful for the incredible nurses who make the work we do at Coastal Kids Home Care possible.
Every day, our nurses bring skilled care, comfort, compassion, and a reassuring presence into the homes of our patients and families. They celebrate milestones, provide support through difficult days, and build meaningful relationships with the children and families they care for.

October is National Physical Therapy Month!
All month long, we’re celebrating the incredible Physical Therapy team at Coastal Kids Home Care and the work they do to help our patients move, grow, play, and reach meaningful milestones right from the comfort of home.
From building strength and mobility to encouraging independence and confidence, our PT team meets each child where they are and makes every step of progress worth celebrating.

A little over a week has passed, but we’re STILL not over our amazing vehicle partners!

You brought the trucks, the smiles, the excitement — and helped make Touch-A-Truck our biggest one yet!

Because of our incredible community, we raised a RECORD-BREAKING $75,000 to support medically fragile children and their families.

To every business, organization, first responder, and vehicle partner who showed up and made this day possible: THANK YOU! We couldn’t do it without you.

What an incredible 12th Annual Touch-A-Truck Salinas!
We had an absolute blast with 61 amazing vehicles, 20 community partners, 9 entertainment groups, 8 local food trucks, and, of course, the always impressive CALSTAR helicopter landing!
This year was extra special because together, we raised more than $75,000 in support of Coastal Kids Home Care, the most ever at Touch-A-Truck Salinas!
A huge thank you to everyone who came out, explored the vehicles, enjoyed the day, and supported our mission. We are so grateful to our incredible community for helping make Touch-A-Truck such a fun and successful event year after year.
We had a blast, and we hope you did too!
Thank you for an unforgettable day, Salinas. We’ll see you next year at Touch-A-Truck 2027!
