From a vision to reality—the 925 Workforce Housing Project is officially underway! 🚜✨The Salinas Valley Chamber was proud to partner on the groundbreaking ceremony for this exciting new initiative.

Located at 925 Padre Drive, the project will bring four homes within walking distance of both Compass Church’s historic Padre Drive location and its newer campus on South Main Street. The duplex with two units and two accessory dwelling units (ADUs) will be built on the newly donated land. The convenient location will provide an attractive housing option for current and future employees of the church, helping address one of the biggest challenges facing local employers: finding talented people who can afford to live and work in the community.

Through a generous land donation, church contributions, and local partnerships with Central Coast Engineering and SSB Construction, this project is coming to life!
