The Valley Health Associates Prevention Facilitators provided a parenting workshop at Bay View Academy Lower Campus this morning. There was a great turnout of parents who actively participated in a discussion about substance use prevention, warning signs, open communication, consistency in discipline, and more.

The VHA Youth Council went on an outing to watch the Monterey Bay FC game. It was a fun-filled night, and they were able to watch their first win of the season!

Highlights from the VHA Youth Prevention Family Outing to MEarth this last Saturday. The prevention students and their families had the opportunity to pick vegetables out of the organic garden and create their own pizza. They also got to pick lavender for their own lavender bundles and paint their own pots filled with wildflower seeds.
