We also would like to thank the Monterey County District Attorney's Office for seeing this through and all the hard work.

After 26 years of service to his community and country, Officer Oscar Dydsdco has closed this chapter of his life and retired.

The Salinas city council meeting has been POSTPONED.

Your support is needed!!!

On November 15, 2022 at 4:00 p.m., there will be a city council meeting. Agenda #2 will be a proposal to re-name Murphy Street in the honor of Officer Jorge David Alvarado. This agenda item will be at 4:30 p.m.

The proposed re-naming will be "JD Alvarado Circle".

Public comment will be allowed during the discussion of the street renaming.

Please come and support your Police Department.

A wall of honor at the Salinas Police headquarters has been placed in the hallways of our brave employees. This is in recognition for all the hard work that exemplifies in the past and present employees of our agency.
