The SPOA would like to thank everyone involved in seeing justice sought out for our brother Officer Jorge David Alvarado.

We also would like to thank the Monterey County District Attorney's Office for seeing this through and all the hard work.

The SPOA would like to extend our deepest sympathy to the Alvarado family and his fiancé during this time.

The Salinas Police Officers Association is asking for your help!

The Salinas City Council will be looking into the budgetary priorities within the city. We are asking you to take the short survey below.

Question #6 specifically addresses prioritizing public safety; specifically police and fire services.

We understand that there are many budgetary issues within the agenda however, we cannot cut any more services for the police or fire department. We are at mission critical.

Your opinion counts and please take the following survey if you live within the city limits.
