Salinas Valley Federation of Teachers Salinas Valley Federation of Teachers is the American Federation of Teachers Local 1020. We represent Faculty and Subs in Salinas!

The Salinas Valley Federation of Teachers, AFT Local 1020 (SVFT) represents the Federation members of both the teaching and support certificated staffs of the Salinas Union High School District. Also, SVFT represents the substitute teachers for the Salinas Union High School District, the Alisal Union School District and the Salinas City School District. SVFT is an affiliate of the California Feder

ation of Teachers and the American Federation of Teachers. SVFT is a proud member of the Monterey Bay Central Labor Council, AFL-CIO as well as a member of the Salinas Valley Chamber of Commerce. SVFT does have a retiree affiliate (SVFT-1020R) that is active and meets 3-4 times per calendar year.
