We are incredibly grateful to the Salina Regional Health Foundationfor awarding Salina Grace a $24,380 Community Health Improvement Program (CHIP) grant to support our Community Resource Center.
Every weekday, our Community Resource Center serves as a place of hope for individuals experiencing homelessness and poverty. Here, guests receive nutritious meals, showers, laundry services, and caring relationships while connecting with healthcare providers, mental health resources, employment opportunities, housing assistance, and other essential community services.
Since the beginning of this year, the Community Resource Center has welcomed 10,521 client visits, providing thousands of opportunities to help people move from crisis toward greater health and stability. This grant will help fund approximately 903 additional visits, ensuring that individuals facing some of life's greatest challenges continue to receive compassionate care and meaningful connections to the resources they need.
We are deeply thankful to the Salina Regional Health Foundation for investing not only in Salina Grace, but in the health and well-being of our entire community. Together, we are creating pathways to healing, hope, and lasting change.
