🩺 CARING FOR THE MOST VULNERABLE 🩺

One of the greatest gaps in communities across our nation is the lack of resources for people living with severe and persistent mental illness. Many of these vulnerable neighbors have nowhere to go and are unable to fully manage life on their own. Others are facing chronic health conditions, disabilities, or the challenges of aging while struggling under the rising cost of living.

These men are not just battling health concerns — they are battling loneliness, instability, and the fear of having nowhere safe to turn.

At the Salina Rescue Mission, we believe every person has value and deserves compassion, dignity, and care.

Through our Supportive Health Program, we help provide safe shelter, medications, transportation to medical appointments, life skills support, encouragement, and daily care for men facing some of life’s hardest circumstances.

This is how we live out the love of Christ — by stepping forward to help those who are often overlooked and forgotten.

During our $50,000 Matching Gift Challenge, every gift will be doubled to help provide care, stability, and hope to more men in need.

Last year, the Salina Rescue Mission served over 73,000 meals to men and others facing hunger and hardship in our community.

Our kitchen is the only one of its kind in North Central Kansas — serving 3 meals a day, 7 days a week, every day of the year. Our kitchen never closes so our neighbors never have to go hungry.

Because of community support, it costs just $2.03 to provide a meal.
That means:
