It’s an honor to work with Greg Boss. He was an old friend of my dad’s, and a great friend of our family.

Cans 4 Kansas Honor Flights Honor Flights is a program begun in 2005 to send our World War II Veterans to Washington DC, to see the memorial dedicated to them at no cost to the veteran. The National WWII Memorial opened to the public on April 29, 2004, and was dedicated on Saturday, May 29, 2004 almost 69 years after WWII ended. Kansas Honor Flight (KHF) is a hub of the Honor Flight Network. KHF sends only Kansas residents to D.C. KHF started out sending WWII Veterans to D.C. Now it has expanded to take WWII, Korean and Vietnam Veterans with WWII and any terminally ill being priority. This is a three day mission. All expenses are free to the veterans. The only money the veterans might need is for souvenirs and cold adult beverages in the hotel bar. All hotels, meals and transportation are covered. Guardian’s normally family members travel with some of the veterans that need assistance and they pay the same $800 it cost to send a veteran. This pays for all their expenses also.
