FC Vermont-Champlain FC VERMONT CHAMPLAIN PAGE IS DEDICATED TO A TEAM THAT HAS NO BORDERS REGARDING THE ADVANCEMENT OF THE ART AND SCIENCE OF FOOTBALL. Coach Luis L. Tijerina

FC VERMONT CHAMPLAIN was started by Luis Lazaro Tijerina in 2010. Luis Lazaro Tijerina, who was a former high school coach, decided during the year of the World Cup, to create a Football (soccer) team that would be composed of footballers of nationalities though out the world. The first initial team has players not only from the United States, but also players from South America, Mexico and Russia

. Although that team only endured for two years, it was a signal that Coach Tijerina was serious about creating a team that if not ever recognized among the public would at least be a small, but profound light that such a team would mirror a better image of what the meaning of being an American means not only in sports but in political enlightenment as well.
