Women Helping Women is a collection of Salina woman who pull together to give women in our community a "hand up." Working with community service agencies, we provide one-time, special purpose grants to Salina area women and their families. YOU can make a grant request: by working with DVAC, Salina Grace, Ashby House, Salina Food Bank, At Stake Ministries, CAPS, Independent Connection, Salina Ad
ult Education Center, Salina Housing Authority, Salvation Army. Grants have been written for example: to buy tired for a car, or service an appliance, to help with dental bills, etc. YOUR agency can become a community partner with us. Please personal message us! YOU can make a gift to the Fund: WHW has established an endowed fund in the Greater Salina Community Foundation. Gifts to the fund are permanent, and income is used to make the annual grants. The larger the fund, the more grants we will be able to make. YOU can be a Fairy Godmother: by making a one-time $500 gift to the Endowment. Fair Godmothers are the backbone of the organization, making it possible to give generously year over year. YOU can invite a Tinkerbell: By making a gift of $250 on behalf of a woman under 30, you can open the door to a lifetime of service and women in leadership. The Greater Salina Community Foundation is a public charity. All gifts to the Women Helping Women Fund are tax deductible to the highest extent allowable by the Internal Revenue Service.
