Salida Kickoff 2026 was nothing short of AMAZING! 🙌🏾🤍✨ We are beyond grateful for EVERYONE who showed up, showed out, and served our community today 💫

Huge thank you to our annual sponsors, project sponsors, and our incredible Love Salida Board Members for making this day possible 🙏🏾🤍 And to our VOLUNTEERS… YOU are the heartbeat of this movement! ❤️👏🏼

We kicked things off with the talented Great Valley Academy band 🎶🔥 who brought the energy and got the crowd hyped! And shoutout to our local Starbucks ☕️🤎 for keeping us fueled and ready to work 💥

A big thank you to our Sheriff’s Department and Fire Department 🚔🚒 who came out to support—we appreciate you showing up for our community! 🙌🏼🤍

✨ Sisk Elementary Campus Beautification 🌸📚
✨ Veteran Letter Project 🇺🇸✉️
✨ Downtown Project… well… 😄 shoutout to the County for handling that one! We happily redirected those volunteers to support other sites 💪🏾🙌🏼

Special shoutout to the GVA junior high student who WON our T-shirt design contest 👕🔥—it was incredible seeing everyone proudly wearing his design today! 🎨

We are SO excited to bring back one of our favorite Love Salida projects this year — handwritten letters for our Salida residents who have served our country! 🤎🤍💙
This is one of our amazing board members holding a box full of envelopes, each one a personal note of gratitude to a local hero. 🙏🏽📬

✨ This is a great project if:
• You still want to sign up for Love Salida this year
• You aren’t able to help with the more physical / manual labor projects
• You love encouraging others with your words and your heart 🤎🧡

🗓 This project will take place right after our Love Salida kickoff at Salida Broadway Park, so you can come celebrate with the whole community and then jump right into writing letters of thanks. 🎉🖊️

This awesome design came through our community art contest, where local students shared their creativity and YOU — our amazing Salida family — voted for the winner! 💫💖
💪🏽 Every registered volunteer will receive one of these exclusive tees at our Kickoff Day, but everyone is invited to come celebrate with us! 🎉💐
