💚 A Glimpse Back at Last Month’s Embracing Aging Expo 2026!

We had a wonderful time connecting with our community at the 2026 Embracing Aging Expo!

Thank you to everyone who stopped by the Places to Age booth to say hello, ask questions, hear the latest project updates, and learn more about the future of senior living in Chaffee County.

A special thank-you to our amazing volunteers who helped make the day possible, and to everyone who joined our Waitlist or asked how they can support Places to Age. 💚

We’re grateful to have a community that continues to believe in our vision of bringing local Independent Living, Assisted Living, and Memory Care to Chaffee County.

🏡💚 House Parties, Here We Come!

Want to help spread the word about Places to Age? Become a host!

Bring together a small group of 10–15 friends, neighbors, or family members for an informal gathering to learn more about our vision for Independent Living, Assisted Living, and Memory Care in Chaffee County.

🥂 You provide the gathering and refreshments, we’ll take care of the presentation! Members of the Places to Age Board will join you to share updates about the project and answer questions.

No speech or presentation required from the host. Just open your home, invite your guests, and help us connect with more people in our community.

Why Places to Age Matters: Judy’s Story 💚

Judy Staby Hoch knows firsthand how important the right care and community can be as we age.

After watching her mom reach 106 years old, Judy saw the positive impact that a wonderful aging facility and supportive community can have on a person’s life.

Her experience is one of the reasons she wants to help turn the Places to Age vision into a reality here in Chaffee County.

We’re building a future where older adults can have access to quality care, meaningful connections, and a place they’re proud to call home.

Placement on the waitlist is based on the order in which completed applications and deposits are received. Your position reserves your spot for future application steps, including formal health and financial screenings.
