It was a bittersweet evening as we said farewell to Coach Brice Fantazia as Head Coach of the MC Varsity Basketball Team. He leaves the program in great hands as Coach Chris Teevan takes the reins of the team.

Coach Brice leaves an impressive legacy.

Tonight we honored our 2024-25 Basketball Teams. Varsity Head Coach Brice Fantazia led the team to a 24-9 overall and a 12-0 League record. Coach Brice is always the first to recognize his Assistant Coaches who were behind him 100% of the way. Sincere thanks to Chris Teevan, Greg Rosenbaum and Cameron Brown for your dedication and devotion to the team.

Tonight we honored our 2024-25 Basketball Teams. Junior Varsity Head Coach Tommy Anderson led the team to an impressive 21-5 overall and a 12-0 League record. This is the first time the JV team went undefeated in League play.

Thank you for putting 9 years into the MC basketball program. You've raised the bar of excellence for this program and we are eternally grateful. Once a Crusader, always a Crusader. I'm sure we'll see you on the sidelines from time to time. Best of luck at MJC. You've already turned that program around and we'll definitely be watching how it grows.

Modesto Christian ( #1) defeats Lincoln ( #4) 74-70.

The 3-time defending champions will take on Folsom ( #3) who upset ( #2) Inderkum 69-50.

The game will be this Friday night, Feb 28 at Golden 1. Tipoff is 8pm.
