It is devastating to say good-bye especially when we just lost his companion last week. Rescue isn’t for the weak. It’s a commitment that demands love, sleeplessness, financial hardship, pain, grief and A LOT IF HAPPINESS AND SUCCESS TOO. I will never be sorry to have not taken vacations, to have worked many jobs to keep the rescues going. It is an honor to share their lives and the lives of all my exchange students who stepped up during heat waves, ice storms and fires to keep everyone safe. I’ll miss you so much BOOGIE TIPPIN CHANCELOR. You were so unique and special. I don’t know if anything can fill that void but this is the time to thank all of my exchange daughters for walking this journey with me. Love Mom and RIP Boogie.

Some things are meant to last forever. Miles, countries apart, distance between oceans cannot break the tight bonds of friendships. Sisterhood of the traveling students. ❤️❤️❤️

Friends and connections from around the World. So beautiful. Love, Mom.
