We need to expand the D.A.R.E program again throughout the State of Missouri.

Congratulations and thank you to all the officers who took the initiative to better their communities with this amazing program!

After 10 long training days, even longer nights, tons of work, and lots of laughs, last Friday morning, the Missouri Police Chiefs Association was proud to graduate another D.A.R.E. Officer Training Session of 30 officers from all across Missouri, as well as officers from Kansas, Illinois, Wisconsin, Virginia, AND Wyoming!

Additionally, 4 D.A.R.E. Mentor Trainees from Missouri and Georgia completed the second part of their Mentor training, allowing them to train new D.A.R.E. Officers as well.

It is our honor and privilege to be the only D.A.R.E. Training facility in the state for this once-a-year training opportunity, and we are happy to have been able to host those from other states.

These officers return to their communities and schools ready to positively impact the lives of countless children in the years to come. We respect the mission of these D.A.R.E. officers and wish them the very best.

We'd like to wish an extra special thank you to our dedicated D.A.R.E. Officer Training Team: Captain Kevin Woodson (Ret.) our D.A.R.E. Detective Sergeant Cody Becker, Detective Mark Baker, and Detective Isaiah Emenheiser were shot and killed, and another detective from the Northern York County Regional Police Department and a deputy sheriff from the York County Sheriff's Office were wounded while attempting to serve an arrest warrant at the 1800 block of Haar Road in North Codorus Township.
