In response to forecasted extreme heat, MWVCAA is opening our Cooling Centers on Tuesday, Aug. 4; Wednesday, Aug. 5; and Thursday, Aug. 6; to provide a safe, cooled place for individuals at risk.

The activated cooling center locations will be:

Tuesday 8/4 (forecasted high: 97) (2 outreach teams deployed)
Salem: ARCHES Day Center - 615 Commercial St. NE (18+ Only)
Hours: 1:00p.m. - 7:00p.m.
Salem: ARCHES Family First – 1255 Broadway St. NE, Suite 110 (Families)
Hours: 7:00a.m. – 7:00p.m.
Woodburn: ARCHES Woodburn Shelter - 1560 Hardcastle St. (18+ Only)
Hours: 1:00p.m. - 7:00p.m.

Wednesday 8/5 (forecasted high: 100) (3 outreach teams deployed)
