The World Needs You Here Walk & Roll 2026 recap video is finally here! 🎥✨🎉🍿

“What’s made this organization so special is our community.” — Chris, Co-Founder of Mental Makeover

We’ve been thinking a lot about those words while watching this video back, because there truly aren’t words that fully capture what this community means to us.

Our 5th annual The World Needs You Here Walk & Roll was more than a Sunday morning together. It was hundreds of people choosing to show up for mental health and su***de prevention. Choosing connection. Choosing to remind one another that we are not alone.

There were conversations that mattered, hugs that were needed, laughter that came naturally, and moments that reminded us why this work matters so deeply.

Mental health can feel incredibly isolating. Sometimes, knowing that someone else understands, that someone is willing to listen, or simply having a place where you feel welcomed can change everything.

That’s what we hope to keep building through Mental Makeover. A community where people feel seen. Where asking for help is met with compassion. Where we can talk openly about the hard things. Where we remind each other, especially on the difficult days, that our lives matter and our stories are always worth continuing.

To every person who has been part of this community, whether you’ve been with us from the beginning or joined us for the first time at our Walk & Roll this year, thank you.

YOU are what makes Mental Makeover so special.

And we’ll keep showing up, together. Because the world needs you here. Until next year, MM fam. 🌎🫂🩵

A HUGE thank you Endeavor Films for capturing the energy of the day so beautifully. 🎥✨

Today, we had the honor of attending Lynn’s very first Mental Health Walk & Talk, hosted by our incredible community partners and friends at Old Soul Young World and Millennium Latino Project 👟🌻💚

We walked. We talked. We connected with familiar faces and new ones. We shared stories. The conversations were vulnerable, honest, and open.

THIS is what community is about. Showing up for one another. Creating spaces where people feel seen, heard, and supported. Making conversations around mental health feel a little less intimidating and a lot more human.

It was a beautiful reminder of what is possible when people come together with a shared belief that everyone deserves access to community and support.

And we have to recognize something truly special about this event. The incredible hosts made it happen with NO funding. Simply because they believed the community deserved a space like this. They created a completely FREE and accessible event where everyone was welcomed. We are proud of our friends and fellow north shore community mental health advocates who poured their hearts into bringing this powerful morning to life.

A special shoutout to our friends at Regulate Yours Mental Health Services, LLC and Heart Lynx- Salem Permanent Jewelry for sponsoring this beautiful morning and helping make it possible, and to all of the incredible providers who contributed resources to the awesome mental health resource bags hosts created for attendees!

We cannot wait for this to be the first of many. This morning was truly special, and we are so grateful we got to be part of it as a community resource provider. Until the next one! 🫂

P.S. Check out the talking prompts they put together. Take a screenshot and use them to spark and continue conversations around mental health this weekend. Talking about mental health saves lives. 🗣️🧠
