Today’s reminder from Em (and her big brother):

You are still loved to full capacity, even in the moments where you’re simply trying your best to make it through. Your hard days do not make you unlovable. Don’t let your mind convince you otherwise. 🫂

Be gentle with yourself this weekend, and don’t forget to sign up for our 5th Annual The World Needs You Here Walk & Roll on August 2 at Salem Common! 🩵👟✨🌞

If you are struggling, you are not alone and you do not have to carry it by yourself. 💙

Support is available 24/7 through trained crisis counselors who are there to listen and help without judgment.

This post includes important helpline resources for moments when things feel overwhelming, including 988, Veterans Crisis Line, Disaster Distress Helpline, and The Trevor Project.

You deserve support. You deserve care. And there is always someone ready to talk. 🫂

When anxiety feels loud, it can help to get the thoughts out of your head and onto paper. 💭✍️

These journal prompts are here as a starting point. No right answers. No pressure to write perfectly. Just a space to slow things down and notice what is actually going on inside you.

Sometimes clarity does not come from thinking harder. It comes from giving yourself a place to be honest.

Take what helps and leave the rest. 🫂

Sleep and rest are essential for your mental wellness. 💤

A gentle reminder for those nights when your mind just won’t slow down: Rest doesn’t always come easy... but small routines can help your body and mind wind down.

Check out this bedtime routine list. No pressure to do it all or do it perfectly, just take what you need. You just have to take care of yourself in a way that feels doable. 🫂

Sunday scaries can make everything feel louder than it is.

If your mind is racing, try the 5-4-3-2-1 grounding technique:

5 things you can see 👀
4 things you can feel 🖐️
3 things you can hear 👂
2 things you can smell 👃
1 thing you can taste 😋

It’s a simple way to bring yourself back to what’s actually in front of you. You don’t have to solve the whole week tonight. Just get through this moment.

You got this, friend. 💚

Six years ago, we lost Sarah, or as many know her, SAS.

Six years later, she is still so deeply loved, deeply missed, and deeply remembered. 🌻✨💛

Today, we’re holding space for her laughter, her heart, the memories she left behind, and the people who carry her with them every single day. Grief doesn’t follow a timeline, and neither does remembering someone who mattered so much. 🪽

At MM, we talk a lot about ending stigma and checking in on each another, but today is also simply about remembering Sarah as a person. Someone who mattered. Someone whose life touched so many people. Her legacy truly is every life she touched.

If you knew and love Sarah, we hope you give yourself permission to remember her in whatever way feels right today. Share a memory. Say her name. Light a candle. Reach out to someone you love.

And if you are struggling yourself right now, please know this world still needs you here. Even on the days your mind tries to convince you otherwise. 🫂

Our MM family will forever remember, love, and honor Sarah and her beautiful soul in all the work we do. 🩵

This is what stigma can feel like.

A constant pressure.
Voices that misunderstand, judge, or minimize what someone is going through.

But beyond stigma? There’s truth. There’s support. There's community. There’s words that heal:
“You’re not alone.”
“It’s okay to ask for help.”
“You matter.”

This Mental Health Awareness Month, let’s push back against the stigma and be part of the voices that make it easier for someone to open up, not shut down. 💚

Because the words we choose? They carry weight.

Yesterday, our Co-Founder Em had the honor of joining Mayor Pangallo and members of the Youth Mental Health Task Force at City Hall for the proclamation of Mental Health Awareness Month.

What makes this task force so powerful is the people behind it. Organizations, clinics, community services, and advocates all coming together with one shared goal: strengthening mental health support for youth and families in every setting possible.

Because supporting mental health takes a community.

It takes people and systems willing to listen, advocate, educate, collaborate, and work together to create safer, more supportive spaces for young people to thrive.

Today was more than a proclamation. It was a reminder that mental health support grows stronger when communities care, conversations happen, and support systems work together.

We’re grateful to stand alongside so many incredible individuals committed to making sure youth know they are never alone in their mental health journeys. 🫂💚
