Pi Kappa Phi Alumni - Xi Chapter at Roanoke College

Pi Kappa Phi Alumni - Xi Chapter at Roanoke College This site is for all Pi Kappa Phi XI Chapter Alumni, no matter when they were ititiated or when they graduated.

It is to be a tool for Brothers to keep in touch, and relive old memories. As we get older, we realized that our Brotherhood days were some of the best days of our lives. But over time after graduation we know that there is a tendency to drift away as other priorities enter our life. With a tool such as this one, the ability to reconnect is made much easier.

We have learned that our Brother, Richard Clark Owen, Class of '92 has passed to the Chapter Eternal. We understand he passed away this past Saturday morning, the day before his birthday. We have no further details at this time, but will post once information is available. Richard's father, Clark Owen, was president of Salem Bank & Trust and was an alumni initiate. Please remember the family during this difficult time.

Pi Kappa Phi’s Day of Giving continues through 9:04pm on Wednesday, December 11.

Xi Chapter alumni can make a difference for Pi Kappa Phi and for Xi Chapter by making a donation on Day of Giving. If 25 Xi alumni make donations totaling $5000, the Chapter receives a credit of $1000 toward Pi Kapp College fees.

You can help us reach our goal by making a gift here: https://www.givecampus.com/schools/PiKappaPhiFoundation/pi-kappa-phi-day-of-giving-2024

Founder's Day was celebrated by a huge turnout of alumni and some of the officers of the current undergraduate chapter. In addition to Xi Chapter alumni, we were joined by other Pi Kappa Phi alumni from Drexel, NC State, and other chapters. Crenshaw Reed and Teddy Polfelt, both Xi Chapter brothers and owners of Brood's in Salem, were our hosts for the evening with a specially prepared menu. A Founder's Day Ritual was read by several of the alumni with remarks by others in keeping with the tradition which goes back 119 years! Those in attendance connected by phone with Durward Owen in Charlotte which was a highlight of the evening. God bless Pi Kappa Phi!
