Our hearts are filled with gratitude! This past Saturday's sunset schooner trip came together because of the extraordinary generosity of one of our supporters!

Saturday evening, we set sail together aboard a schooner with Plummer staff, Promise Circle members, and friends of Plummer for a fun sunset cruise along the Gloucester coast. ⛵

Father's Day can bring up a lot of different feelings, and for many young people in foster care, today isn't simple. It might be a day of celebration, or it might stir up grief. Whatever this day brings up, those feelings are valid.

Today, we're celebrating dads in every form they take, showing up no matter what:

Foster dads cheering from the sidelines.
Mentors showing up every time.
Biological fathers working hard toward reunification with their kids.

To every dedicated father and father figure supporting a child in care: thank you for being a hero.

Today, we recognize Juneteenth, a day that commemorates resilience and hope. We honor this historic milestone and reflect on the importance of freedom and belonging for all. Wishing our community a meaningful Juneteenth!

The Infinity Loop is a half-mile walking path along our shoreline, a design guided by a trauma-informed care specialist who knew that a continuous loop creates a more therapeutic experience than a path that asks you to turn back.

Youth in our care walk it to unwind, to breathe, to enjoy a beautiful day with someone they trust. Healing and hope in every step forward. Thank you to Groom Construction and Roundel47 for building a path where healing can happen!

Our program staff gathered outside on the patio of our newly reopened Caroline Plummer House this week.

Why have a program meeting inside when we're having such lovely weather ☀️?

This amazing team works directly with young people in foster care to help them reconnect with family, build life skills, and develop a sense of belonging.

We couldn't be more proud of the people who make this mission possible.
