Salem-Roanoke County Chamber of Commerce Our organization's mission is to create, promote, develop, and support quality business opportunities Individuals may also join.

The Salem-Roanoke County Chamber of Commerce has been in existence since 1934 and is a 501(c)6 non-profit organization. Our hallmark is connecting businesses and individuals to the community. We produce seven signature events each year (Business Showcase, our Gala, the Blue Ridge Kite Festival, the Golf Tournament, Kegs & Barrels Wine & Craft Beer Festival, the Salem Christmas Parade, and the Ging

erbread Festival). We also organize quarterly network breakfasts, business owner round table luncheons and business after hours events. Membership is affordable and is based on the number of employees that a company has (in addition, membership extends to everyone employed by the company). The chamber is aided by event committees that members have the opportunity to join. Our organization also includes a 501(c)3 Salem-Roanoke County Foundation which provides several scholarships annually to high school seniors who attend a local Salem or Roanoke County School, as well as a couple of scholarships to mid-level career professionals who want to advance in their field.

What a week at the Chamber! 🎉

We kicked things off on Wednesday with a fantastic Business After Hours at O.T.H. Chophouse, sponsored by SERVPRO of Roanoke. Between the incredible views, great conversations, and a packed room of local professionals, it was an evening full of networking and community connections.

Then on Thursday, we wrapped up the week with a sweet celebration at Dairy Queen Grill & Chill Grand Re-Opening Ribbon Cutting! 🍦✂️ Guests left with Father's Day ice cream cakes, and the first 100 customers scored free Stackburgers for a year — now that's a ribbon cutting to remember!

📣 We are pleased to announce our grand re-opening on Thursday, June 18th, 2026, with a ribbon-cutting ceremony organized at 4:00 pm by the Salem-Roanoke County Chamber of Commerce.

📍The first 100 customers to purchase any size cake will receive a free Stackburger every week for a year.
