On behalf of PFACO-
My heart breaks to share this information about a senseless tragedy that has affected one of the Play for a Cure Oregon participants.

Many of you will know and remember Jami Strinz as a familiar face at PFACO playing in the tournament many years.
Jami loved softball and lived it year round. She was the head coach for Umqua Community College in this, their program’s first year. She was building their program from the ground up and doing a great job!

As a new softball season is getting underway, keep in mind we never know how the game will end, play with all your heart, enjoy the competition but never more than you enjoy the game, and remember those who’s game has ended and play for them too.

Please keep Jami’s daughter, family, teammates, players, and many friends in your thoughts and prayers.

Umpqua Community College softball team was doing everything right.
