NO 3rd Bridge

NO 3rd Bridge Say NO to the $430 million Salem Alternative bridge and highway that will displace homes and businesses in the Highland neighborhood and in West Salem.

The Salem Alternative is a 4,000 ft. bridge and bypass through North and West Salem. It would raise property taxes by hundreds of dollars a year and would do next to nothing to relieve peak hour traffic congestion downtown and in West Salem. We want to fix peak hour congestion NOW with low cost and no cost solutions like better transit service and free parking for bike and pedestrian commuters in

Wallace Marine Park. We want to retrofit the two bridges we already have to survive the Cascadia earthquake that could come at any time. This could be done at a fraction of the cost of a 3rd Bridge.
