Every single donation matters. Every single donation goes somewhere. We not only care for the children in our communities, but we care for the people. If we can’t put it to use here at the closet, we pass it along to the next organization who will put it to use. We’ve been so fortunate to partner with other like minded organizations so you can know your donations are being stretched and used to the best of our abilities. Here’s just a little photo dump of things our volunteers have been busy with this past month. Thank you!!!

L & S now has 2 donation bins! We want to send a huge thank you out to The Rock Church Centralia whose generous donation made the purchase possible. We would also like to Thank Jason Smith and Korte & Luitjohan Contractors, Inc. who worked behind the scenes to figure out how to get these from STL to Salem! Who know the logistics would be so complicated. Not even two weeks ago, Gregg Korte heard about our predicament and offered to have them delivered to us free of charge. (Thank you to the K & L Driver who made the trip and very skillfully placed our new to us bins. I was nervous and he made quick work of it!) We're so thankful to encounter community members and organizations that also have a heart for children and our local families. Stay tuned for updates about when the bins will be available to start accepting donations!

Thank you to Mrs. Morris and her class!!!

A huge thank you to the students & families from Mrs. Morris's classroom!! The class rallied together to meet a need requested by Lillies & Sparrows for youth and adult toothpaste. Today we are happy to announce that Mrs. Morris's class donated 72 TUBES of toothpaste! Lillies and Sparrows provide care packages full of clothing, hygiene items, and self-care items for children in foster care settings. We are so proud of this group and their continued collaboration with the Lillies and Sparrows organization!
