🍅🫑🌶️🥒 The Soil-Rain-Inspiration Farm harvest today was plentiful!

Crews snacked on delicious cherry tomatoes during breaks and lunch, and were able to take veggies home for their families to enjoy 😃

Last year we built a small employee vegetable garden with six raised beds. This year we were able to plant a 40’x60’ food plot at our new location. It has been challenging trying to maintain it while we are still working out of our leased location on Babb Lane, of course. But if anyone can “adapt and overcome”, the family at SRI can…and will continue to do so.

Plans are in the works for a high tunnel (greenhouse) that will allow us the opportunity to grow year-round. This will not only help provide food for our employees but will also bring more healthy, locally grown organic veggies to our community!

Our Big Clothing Sale continues Monday thru Thursday from 9am-2pm until we start packing up to move, date TBD sometime in September. The funds raised from this sale are going towards the purchase of the greenhouse. If you’ve stopped by to shop, thank you! If you haven’t yet, come on out for some incredibly low prices on clothing, coats, purses, shoes and boots! You won’t be disappointed!

As always, we remain forever grateful for your support of this important mission. We love every one of our employees, we truly are a family. We couldn’t do this without the love and support from our community. Thank you all ❤️

A sheltered workshop that employs people with special needs in Salem, is close to opening its new location, more than a year and a half after a fire destroyed the original building.

👀‼️⏰ We decided to keep the Big Sale open later this Thursday, August 20th until 5:30pm!

Also, a very kind and generous supporter has offered to match ALL funds raised during the Big Sale thru August 27th! So every dollar you spend is worth double to us! We are so excited!! 😃

📣🚨The Big Sale Continues!!

What: Clothing, shoes and boots, purses, books and more!

When: Monday thru Thursday from 9am-2pm, the last day will be Thursday, August 27th!

Where: 1200 S. Babb Lane in Salem - next door to MFA!

We unboxed additional items this week, so come on out and get your shopping fix! It’s hot outside but our A/C is cool! Don’t miss out on the fun, the laughter or the deals!!

📣🍕We’ve been so busy that we forgot to mention tomorrow, Thursday August 13th is our next Pizza Hut fundraiser!

It’s too hot to cook so let the fine folks at Pizza Hut take care of that for you! And if it’s too hot to even leave the house, don’t worry - they deliver! 🚗🍕

Speaking of the temperature, the sharks will be inside the Hut tomorrow to greet you! As much as we love a good dance out on the parkway** - we love keeping the sharks safe from the heat even more! 🦈😃

So come out and enjoy some great food at great prices and as always, we are forever grateful for your support 😃❤️
