Last week, the Oregon Aglink Board gathered at the Columbia Gorge Discovery Center & Museum in The Dalles for our quarterly board meeting. It was a productive and positive day filled with great discussion, planning, and the important task of selecting our 2026 award recipients.
We were grateful for the opportunity to meet at such a beautiful venue. As the official interpretive center for the Columbia River Gorge National Scenic Area, the museum offers an incredible look at the natural, cultural, and agricultural history of the region.
While there, board members made sure to visit the “A Sense of Place” exhibit, which celebrates the history, innovation, and stewardship of former Aglink board member Jeanne Carver. The exhibit highlights Jeanne’s leadership in sustainable ranching and her work to strengthen the American wool industry while caring for the land for future generations.
Thank you to the Columbia Gorge Discovery Center & Museum for hosting us and for preserving and sharing the stories that connect Oregon’s communities, history, and agricultural heritage.
