Phi Sigma Sigma at Salem State University Phi Sigma Sigma is proud to be the first sorority at Salem State University. Iota Pi Chapter IΠ Φ? Today Phi Sigma Sigma has over 60,000 members.

On November 26, 1913, at Hunter College in New York City, Phi Sigma Sigma was born as the first nonsectarian sorority. The ten founders wanted to create a sorority that would promote open membership to any women who was committed to sisterhood, scholarship and selfless giving. The sisters of the Iota Pi chapter at Salem State University, founded on April 21st 2012, are honored to follow in the foo

tsteps of the 10 brave women who began this courageous journey more than 100 years ago. Keep a look out for updates about our recruitment, philanthropy, sisterhood and other fun events!
