Camp Fire North Shore has an afterschool program and a summer camp, and the organization is currently mobilizing to expand youth programs. This year Camp Fire will continue to run events that are open to the community. 🥋✨ A Special Show & Tell at Cairn Hill Nature Preschool! ✨🥋

This month, one of our preschoolers, Daniella, shared her passion for Tae Kwon Do with the entire Cairn Hill community in a truly unforgettable way.

Master Thomas and fellow instructors from Tiger An's Tae Kwon Do visited our school to lead a special presentation, teaching children about the core values of Tae Kwon Do: focus, discipline, and respect. With her family cheering her on, Daniella proudly demonstrated skills she has been working hard to learn and even showed off her board-breaking abilities!

Our students had the opportunity to participate, learn new movements, and experience the confidence and dedication that martial arts can help build. Most importantly, it was wonderful to see Daniella shine as she shared something she loves with her friends and teachers.

Thank you to Daniella, her family, and the instructors from Tiger An's Tae Kwon Do for creating such a meaningful experience for our school community. 💙

We're proud to recognize three outstanding Camp Fire team members who are making a difference in the lives of youth while pursuing their own educational and career goals!

🎓 Jaytana Truong – Assistant Group Leader at Washington Elementary
Jaytana graduated from Lynn Classical High School and is will be studying Finance at UMass Lowell.

🎓 Khyshawn Semper – Assistant Group Leader at KIPP Academy
A graduate of Frederick Douglass Collegiate Academy, Khyshawn is pursuing a degree in Criminology and Criminal Justice at UMass Boston.

🎓 Jaedon Mojica – Group Leader at Camp Fire at 2 Cain Road
Jaedon graduated from Lynn English High School and is continuing his education through Franklin Cummings Institute of Technology's Practical Electricity Program.

🌟 Staff Spotlight: Gianna Ramirez 🌟

Join us in celebrating Gianna Ramirez, Behavior Technician at Camp Fire North Shore, for being awarded the 2026 Jauron Legacy Fund Spectrum of Opportunity Scholarship through the Rock the Spectrum Foundation!

Gianna received this scholarship in recognition of her commitment to learning, dedication to serving the autism community, and ambitious goals for the future. The award will help support her educational journey as she pursues her Bachelor's Degree in Psychology, with plans to continue making a meaningful impact in the lives of children and families.

Gianna's long-term goals include becoming both a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and a Pediatric Neuropsychologist. Her passion, hard work, and dedication to supporting youth exemplify the values we strive to foster every day at Camp Fire North Shore.

🌟 Staff Spotlight & Program Spotlight: Camp Fire North Shore at Connery 🌟

Kasey is an amazing Group Leader who brings creativity, encouragement, and fun to our program every day! This session, she led a “Magic Club” where students learned a new magic trick each day, building confidence and teamwork along the way. ✨🎩

This week, the club put on a magic show for the other students, and it was a huge success! Kasey was supportive, encouraging, and kept the event running smoothly from start to finish. Our students did absolutely wonderful, and we are so proud of all their hard work and bravery performing in front of their peers! 👏💙

Our Camp Fire team had an incredible time at the 26th Annual Youth at Risk Conference at Endicott College! We attended informative workshops, connected with fellow youth-serving professionals, and gained valuable insights to bring back to our programs and community.

Team members who attended included Director of Camp & Specialized Programs Isiah Simmons, Senior Clinical Director Michaela Hamill, and Senior Director of Operations Sam Collins.
