FRC Team 6324 - The Blue Devils

Started in 2016, FRC Team 6324 is the newly formed FIRST Robotics Team at Salem High School! Be sure to watch for us at events throughout New England!

The Salem Robotics Program is a group of students, industry mentors, and teachers from Salem, NH who work and compete in the FIRST Robotics Competition. With a current roster of 25 high school students, we are working to try and promote Science, Technology, Engineering, and
Mathematics (STEM) within our community and provide our students with professional skills and work experience. As we are a no

n-profit entity within the Salem School District, we rely on our sponsors to help with the high cost of participation associated with FIRST Robotics and our
community outreach programs.

Last week 6324 went to the world championship in Houston Texas. We placed 3rd in qualifications and formed an alliance with ,
and together we were able to win our division and make it the Einstein field, placing us among the top 32 teams. Finally we ended the competition as the highest ranked New England team and the 5th best Alliance not just nationally but around the World. This was an incredible feat and the best our team has ever done. Thank you to our alliance partners we couldn't have done it without you and it has been a pleasure working with all of you.

Thank you to all of our supporters back home who cheered us on and believed in us throughout the season. This includes parents, sponsors, friends and family we couldn't have done this without you and hope to see your continued support next year in the upcoming season FIRST Canopy.

This week, team 6324 has gone to the World championship event in Houston, Texas! We've been having a lot of fun during the competition. With the mascots of other teams adding to our enjoyment of the event! Many of our team members are hanging out with the team mascots, Thank you to teams @7403, @346, and @1902 for bringing whimsy to champs!

Team 6324 was immensely proud with the performance of our team at the UNH District Event, coming out as finalists as captains of Alliance 2. Our alliance partners and did an amazing job in every match we played and we couldn’t have asked for a better group of robots. This event allowed us to qualify for DCMP and we will continue to work hard and keep up the good work! 💙

This week, we would like to give a special thanks to Andrew Mike, aka Andy. Andy has been helping the team for the past 5 years, as both a sponsor and a mentor. He volunteered with the team at the UNH event to help run the machine shop, which is a service that supports all teams at the event. He is one of our biggest supporters and an incredible person and we cannot thank him enough for what he has done for us. Thank you Andy!

6324 dug in rebuilt at URI this weekend. We ended at 3rd place, as a first pick with 5000 and 6620! We had a blast. Thank you judges for picking us for the gracious professional award! 💙🤍💙🤍
