Brethren, the roll of the workmen has been called, and Brother
Louie E Sansing has not answered to his name. He was born February 21st, 1926 at Dermott, Arkansas
and was raised to the Sublime Degree of Master Mason in Portland
Lodge No. 499 on June 23rd, 1947.
On May 13th , 2026, our Heavenly Father smiled
upon him and taking him by the hand, gently led him to that “house
not made with hands, eternal in the Heavens.”

Illustrious Brother Louie Sansing "tootlum" was loved by all who knew him , and will be deeply missed .

a celebration of life has not been set , we will update as that information is received.

Brethren, family members, and volunteers Wrap gifts for our 2025 Vista Christmas party. Every year we partner with the Salem-Keizer School district to serve our communities children. For his last meeting as Worshipful Master, WB Jeremiah Pruitt had the honor of presenting two worthy brothers plaques which indicate the esteem with which we hold them.

The first went to WB Michael Thomas, who received his Grand Representative Commission from the Grand Lodge of Ireland. No worries, Brother Mike-- the Secretary has sent notification to your brothers in Dublin that you've received it.

The second was our Hiram Award, which is a special honor among the brethren. It's not awarded every year, and goes to one outstanding Mason who is recognized by his brothers as working tirelessly toward the success and harmony of the fraternity. This year we had an award, and of course it went to Bro. Neily Cooper II.

We had a great stated meeting this week. WB Charles Ponder recieved his 65 Year Mason Jewel from WM Jeremiah Pruitt and 75 Year Mason Jewel holder WB Louie Sansing. Brother Gregory Jolivette recieved his Mop & Pail Lodge ritual/code books as well as his Master Mason dues card and other congradulatory gifts. Brother Robert Kessler gave his Fellowcraft Proficiency and did excellent! Now he is ready for his Master Mason degree Tuesday August 19th @ 7:00pm at the Salem Scottish Rite Center. All Master Masons are welcome with casual dress code.

Vista Masonic Lodge #215 AF&AM will be conferring a Fellowcraft Degree this Tuesday June 17th for Brother Robert Kessler at 7:30pm at the Salem Scottish Rite Center. Dress code is summer casual with refreshments following. All freemasons Fellowcraft and above are welcomed!
