Boy Scout Troop 4029

Boy Scout Troop 4029 Welcome to our page! We are chartered at First Baptist Church, located at 200 E Walnut Street, Salem, IN. Our Troop meets on Tuesday each week.

In addition to having fun, our scouts also serve the community by assisting through food drives for the less fortunate, local park clean ups, participating in community events such as Memorial and Veterans' Day and other service projects.

Troop 4029 doing a summer conservation project for our city. Cleaning up trash and debris from the recent storms. Helping keep the creeks clean and free of debris. Big thank you to Mayor Green for always helping out our boys with whatever they may need. We couldn’t do it without the support from our community and our chartered organization/Church family the First Baptist Church of Salem. Stay tuned to see what next adventure these boys have next.

Well 4029 had another successful week at summer camp at Hale Scout Reservation in Talihina OK. 1,622 miles round trip. Route 66, 14 merit badges 1 totin chit, hot pizza, root beer floats and some hotel antics and stopped to see the King in Memphis. Can't ask for a better way to start off the summer. Thanks to the parents for letting the boys have this experience and all those who have helped along the way. Now it's time for laundry and relaxation.
