As part of our final meeting we honored our Chuck Bowles Coach of the Year and our Jack Bull Honoree for Service to High School Athletics. We also honored two individuals with two newly minted awards: the Harold Hauk Legacy Coach Award and the Bob Flood/Stan Kerzel Excellence in Officiating Award.

Tuesday, June 2nd is the final meeting of Salem Sports and Breakfast Club for 2025-26. This will be our culminating meeting at which we honor our Oliver Huston Senior Male Athlete of the Year and our Julie Cushing Senior Female Athlete of the Year. Event starts at 7:00, doors open at 6:30 at the Cat Cavern on the campus of Willamette University. Please come join us. Continental breakfast - pastries, fruit, coffee cake, etc., plus coffee, and water - will be available at no charge and thanks to the Admissions Office of Willamette University.

Tomorrow morning is the last regular Friday morning meeting of the 2025-26 school year. We invite you to join us at Montag Hall on the campus of Willamette University. Doors open at 6:45 with the presentation of athletes beginning at 7:15. We also will honor our "Team of the Year", the Salem Academy Girls Golf team which won its third consecutive state championship. The Crusaders won by 59 strokes. Their team score was the 2nd best in Oregon at all levels, behind only 6A Jesuit.
