Oregon Remembers

Oregon Remembers Grateful Americans honoring those who have given their lives for our freedom. Oregon Remembers honors those who have given their lives for our freedom.

We love our country, appreciate our veterans, and want to give honor where honor is due! Every year on Memorial Day, we have two commemorative ceremonies. The events will honor those who have given their lives for our freedom. It is designed to be appropriate for Americans of all ages who want to gain an appreciation and understanding of the intended meaning and purpose for this important nationa

l holiday. It is family friendly and children are welcome. Please come and be a part of this special day. Volunteers are needed as well as financial support to help defray the cost of the event. To help or to have a question answered, please visit www.OregonRemembers.org or send an email to [email protected]. The location for the 11 a.m. "Oregon Remembers" Commemorative Ceremony is Restlawn Memory Gardens in West Salem. The location for the 2:30 p.m. "Oregon Remembers" Commemorative Ceremony is Fir Lawn Memorial Park. Both ceremonies will last 40 minutes. Appropriate Military Honors will be a part of the ceremony as well as participation from representatives and loved ones of those we seek to honor. We look forward to joining with you to say thank you to America's Heroes. They deserve our best. They have given everything. We encourage you to teach your children about the real meaning of Memorial Day. You can also visit us as www.facebook.com/visioncorps
